Dr. Janning has been a practicing Board Certified Otolaryngologist in Minnesota since 1997. The Family Eye and ENT Center in southwest Willmar opened during the summer of 2005. This joint venture included Family Eye Center, Fischer Laser Eye Center, and Family Surgery Center. Dr. Janning has also enlarged his scope of practice to include Janning Aesthetics, Janning Audiology Center and Sound Sleep Centers - Willmar.

The midline of the nose consists of a cartilage and bony nasal septum that separates the two sides of the nasal cavity.

nose1A deviation or bend in this structure can be present at birth or can occur following a nasal fracture. The obstruction caused by such a deviation can be corrected by surgically straightening the septum, called a septoplasty.
